This super colt may be homozygous for sabino and he has been DNA tested and is positive for the frame gene which is responsible for the exquiste overo patterns seen throughout this website. This colt will make an outstanding race or show prospect and he has enough color and class to go on and become an outstanding herd sire that will be able to pay for himself quickly in the breeding shed. This double registered Paint-Thoroughbred "TRUE BLACK" colt born 5/16/04 is for sale. He is by Racey Remarque and out of MISS SPELL DAUN. He has been DNA tested and does not have an agouti or Lethal White Overo Gene. This flashy colt has white in both flanks, white inside the elbows and between the rear legs that does not show in the photos. When bred to other registered thoroughbreds, "ALL" offspring will be eligible to be registered as at least "breeding stock Paints," to race or show and breed as Paints and/or Thoroughbreds. This is a real plus, since the new "One Paint Parent Rule" has come into effect (which prohibits the registration of thoroughbred cropouts as paints.) This handsome black colt should mature to 16.1 or 16.2 according to his cannon bone measurements. He is flashy, heavily muscled, and correct.
